The NDP has been pretty fucking awesome for business so far - I hate articles that try and paint all business leaders as conservative aligned. Not everyone is at the fucking Chip Wilson level of asshattery.

The worst part of the 'split' is that people are moving from right of centre (BC Libs) to the right (the BC Cons). That direction is not good, and is becoming more and more worrisome. We all remember how bad the BC Liberals are, imagine the BC Conservatives.

I really wish they’d just stay separated cleanly and so we can have three parties going at it instead of a two party us-vs-them setup. The two party us-vs-them in the US really show casing how bad the us-vs-them arrangement can get, and I don’t want that (here in our little BC bubble; I’m aware East Coast “where it matters” it’s a whole different story).

The thing about Govt spending is that it either funds infrastructure that is built by big business or it goes to social services that are more and more provided by business, so they are gaining more income instead of just getting tax break. it is better for the economy to have the services and infrastructure providing jobs than tax break money being in a few peoples pockets.

Boo hoo hoo, we don't have pre-bought Conservative politicians to make endless profit and regulatory capture easy anymore. Citizens actually have some chance at not getting fucked by us at every opportunity. Boo hoo hoo big business is saaaadddd.
