God watching these movies in order is going to be a nightmare when the next one is going to be named like M4TILDA

I think 3M1LY and K4R3N get made before M4TILDA

Don't forget about 357384N :)

I was pleasantly surprised with M3GAN, so I'm looking forward to this. It's got a different writer/director whose work I'm not familiar with, but looking at her IMDB it seems like a good fit for her.

Yeah, I enjoyed it. It was good campy fun and the girl playing M3GAN was appropriately creepy.

Yeah. I used to watch a lot of horror/thrillers and most left me underwhelmed. As such, I had low expectations for M3GAN but it left me pleasantly surprised. Definitely campy, but that's obviously what it was going for.

Now I'm thinking I might have to watch it again this weekend.

Most of the time M3GAN had a puppet face, so that helped a lot with the creepy uncanny valley effect.

It was fun but not quite Malignant fun. Hopefully they got full camp on the next one.

Edit: wait, erotic thriller? Curious where they take this creepy doll movie. Creepy sex doll? Could be fun.

Few movies reach the heights of Malignant!

James Wan needs to drop the smelly fish superhero and come back to direct bonkers horror movies. I want more ridiculous pseudo-Gallio that suddenly turns into a wire-fu action flick.

M'three'gan hit some of the notes at times but took itself a bit too seriously at times.

I think the hardest I laughed in a theater that year was when the in movie commercial says "imagine what it can do for kids whose parents aren't dead!"

I don't know if they can thread the needle again but I'll give the sequel a shot

At least with the premise of the sequel being about a sex-bot it opens the doors for all sorts of different madness.

The real question is, when the robot goes crazy, will the protagonist die, freak out but escape in the end, over out of terror, or be a supportive accomplice? The last one would be the most interesting and unique spin on it, I think.
