Looks like a fun game but I hate this new model that Hitman is trying and I won’t support it. 90% off part one, no VR, full game still $70-100 depending on the edition. Plus DLC, too.
This is the reason this one left my wishlist long ago. Stop trying to monetize every part of the game! Or don’t and I’ll just play the older, better Hitman games I already own for that fix.
Hitman was one of my favourite series. I'm not paying a subscription to play a single player game. Screw IO Interactive and their greedy executives for ruining a great series!
Yeah, I just looked at that steam page and it's it seems a little "bait & switchy". I don't know what part one means, and they don't even list part 2, just the full priced game. I got it on PS5 for full price when it came out and I think was a good value. It is really fun and they remade all the old game maps with the new engine.
There is a chart on the page, but basically part one is the old Hitman 1 (2016). Standard is Hitman 1-3 plus WOA updates like Freelancer mode. Deluxe is standard with DLC except the gun skins/art packs. I personally hate how they are doing it, but they keep developing the game and someone has to pay to keep the lights on.
