I have ADHD and have issues focusing on what I have to get done.

I am searching for a app such as this one where I can focus for a specific amount of time (like a pomodoro) but that stays on top of other apps. Does anyone know any FOSS app that is able to do such thing?

I am currently using Logseq with the Pomodoro timer plug-in.

In addition, what apps are you currently using for productivity? I am not talking about specific work tools like code editors. I currently use Logseq/Anytype (trying to transfer a few things to Anytype as it has support for templates). I tried using Vikunja but I didn't like it very much, we still use it for home management as it has support for recurring tasks.

I just started using super-productivity to help with this kind of thing

The Zenkit suite may do what you want. I started using it when M$ applied E3 to Wunderlist

I went to take a look and it doesn't seem to be open source

How are you finding Anytype?

I tried moving to it recently but eventually gave up because of how complicated it got. Vikunja was on my list of things to try. I still haven't found something I like.

Appflowy was next on my list to try. It seems to have matured a lot since I last checked

We found Anytype when searching for a Notion alternative and it is indeed a good one. It is still missing a few features, mainly related to dates and calendars but I am having fun setting up the templates. It takes a bit but eventually it does click, in my case my spouse did the hardwork and explained to me how to use it, lol.

The two main ways I am currently using it are: creating a page and putting a bunch of relevant stuff in there and the other is creating a type and creating a set of said type to be displayed. Don't know if that will make sense to you but if you are interested I can try to type it in a more detailed way. Logseq is nice but sometimes I needed tables and it was a bit of a mess. Anytype doesn't have this issue.
