God of War Ragnarök is an excellent game; most honest Steam reviews indicate as much. It was also voted "Most Wanted Game" by the Golden Joystick Awards two years before Sony released it as a PlayStation exclusive. Post-launch, it earned the most nominations and awards of any other title at DICE 2023, winning seven of its 12 nominations. However, it lost the DICE GotY to stiff competition from Elden Ring.

Well if you didn't put PSN on a single player game you wouldn't have this happen. I was gonna buy it day one until I heard. Instead, I'm just focusing on my backlog that's been piling up and I'll just get it when it's on sale

Also remember that PSN isn't available in all countries. So if you're in one of those 100+ countries you can't even play it if you buy it.

Very nice. I'm definitely going to strongly consider getting this on sale now.

Does this not count as breaking part of the DRM?

probably, at which point you might as well pirate the game anyway. At least then you're not financially supporting Sony'a dumbass decision.
