What a fucking disappointment. I've not watched the final episode and I'm not going to, as apparently Netflix only understands something sucks if people don't finish watching it.

Season 1 was fantastic. Season 2 was... tolerable. The writing for Season 3? I've never been so bored, disengaged, or had suspense so masterfully deflated.

It boggles the mind how something with this much money behind it can turn out this bland. The dialogue feels like clicking through a cutscene, maybe intentional? And it's all just everyone moping around. And then the betrayal twist was weirdly convoluted, maybe because I was already checked out by that time. And they just keep flicking between different locations, they can never finish one scene on its own, probably because they know that the writing is shit and unengaging.

The monsters are completely uninspired as well, every single one looks like you glued a praying mantis to a fish.

Plot wise nothing happened. Can't wait for season 4 in two years where the Witcher and Ciri...walk around the countryside accomplishing nothing while some random war is fought in the back. Absolutely pointless.

Had a good laugh at the Gerhard scene though, great bit.
