This is sad news, but not totally unexpected, at least by me. The first season had the dual storylines of young Catherine and older Catherine which really gave it some depth, and it was far grander of a scale. Samantha Morton is fine, but what really grabbed my attention was Liv Hill who played Young Catherine was captivating, and her storyline was a lot more exciting. The Second season while good, was not great, and suffered from being almost claustrophobic in it's portrayal of the French court. This spinoff with Minnie Driver as Elizabeth could be fun, but she's playing it waaaay over the top, so we'll just have to see what they give us. Bonus for all the stars getting paid for a third season without having to do any of the work.

The only one of these shows that I sort of tolerate is The Spanish Queen, the rest have been so meh
