Worth reading the article, as there's a lot more context than "blame the government".

  • All parties were in the standing ovation and clapping
  • This unit was given additional screening, but were admitted to the UK and Canada as they weren't specifically German military
  • They primarily had a Ukrainian name, and were given an additional name by the Germans

However, all that being said, fuck Nazis. If we have direct evidence this guy was a Nazi, or that he directly participated in Nazi atrocities, nail him to the wall. But to just blanket call him a Nazi without context or investigation is clearly wrong.

The division was given a pass back in '84, but on inspection it sounds like they butchered a lot of civilians in Poland, something Himmler personally complimented them for.

Rota needs to be out, every person who works for him needs to be out, every person in Telford and Jolys offices need to be out, and Trudeau needs to start planning for how he's going to secure his legacy when Poilievre takes a majority and starts smashing crap up.

Nobody thinks the LPC are Nazis. But this is the final proof everybody needed that they are not competent to run the country.

Remember that time that Polievre shook hands and took smiling pictures with the well known white supremacist who later threatened to rape his wife?

Hunka was invited by Speaker Anthony Rota, who introduced him as a war hero who fought for the First Ukrainian Division.

Rota’s office did not immediately respond to questions.

I expect Rota will not be the Speaker for much longer.
