Nice! Book 1 was pretty good, though the scenes where his cat got hurt were pretty tough to read for a softie like me

The Alex Verus series is great, he does a fantastic job of weaving a arc over 10 books that hits a fantastic climax for book 11 and finishes things up nicely at the of book 12. GRRM wishes he knew how to complete arcs so satisfyingly
