Some games have functioning DLSS but the LOD Bias isn't configured correctly (i e Dead Space Remake, STILL broken.) You can fix this with nvidia profile inspector or SK. Not sure if CoD6 has this issue but it could be worth a try

It's a new game. This shouldn't be surprising. Most likely they just need to retrain/finetune the ML models being used for upscaling, frame generation, etc.
Should be coming in a driver update soon.

Fsr doesn't use ml. And I don't think dlss needs special tuning anymore neither. They fucked something up

Ah good point. If it was just affecting Nvidia cards then a driver update would be all that they need.

This is sounding more like a software issue on the Call of Duty side then.

But DLSS does still get updated models with driver updates:

DLSS uses the power of NVIDIA’s supercomputers to train and regularly improve its AI model. The latest models are delivered to your GeForce RTX PC through Game Ready Drivers.

Whatever they say. DLSS is a dll shipped with the game. Old games don"t automatically get an updated DLSS.

You can usually replace the dll in a game with newer ones and often get better quality.

Idk, maybe they ship some parts of DLSS in the driver, but games don't use it automatically.

Having said that, Nvidia does ship game specific fixes in their driver. But it's less "retrain ai" and more "fix what they fucked up".
