Basically what the title says. I've only played two games like this so far (Silent Hill 2 and OMORI) and am looking for more.

Could be games, ROM hacks, mods of existing games, etc.

EDIT: So many great suggestions! Getting a bit overwhelmed by how many there are, so I'm going to need to find a way to put this in some kind of list with an order to play the games in. By all means, keep 'em coming, though!

Ghost Trick is a very twisty game, but a few of the twists had me tearing up.

God of War: Ragnarok got me close to bawling. Father son moments always get me in movies and games, and this was one of the best.

Omori. If you don't cry when playing that game, you are a monster...

But more seriously, even though it's the best storytelling I've seen in ages, I wouldn't recommend it if you are depressed, that game hits hard.
