This community is mostly for discussion and news. Remember to search for the thing you're submitting before posting to see if it's already been posted.
We want to keep the quality of posts high. Therefore, memes, funny videos, low-effort posts and reposts are not allowed. We prohibit giveaways because we cannot be sure that the person holding the giveaway will actually do what they promise.
5. Mark Spoilers and NSFW
Make sure to mark your stuff or it may be removed.
No one wants to be spoiled. Therefore, always mark spoilers. Similarly mark NSFW, in case anyone is browsing in a public space or at work.
6. No linking to piracy
Don't share it here, there are other places to find it. Discussion of piracy is fine.
We don't want us moderators or the admins of lemmy.world to get in trouble for linking to piracy. Therefore, any link to piracy will be removed. Discussion of it is of course allowed.

I see it in the top sellers, but why? Haha it looks like card games on a computer?
It's an extremely addictive and replayable deck building roguelike with poker theme. Although you don't need any previous knowledge about poker - all information you need is in the game. It's very easy to pick up but gets tough at higher difficulties, and it hits that "one more round" urge just right. Oh and it's also dirt cheap even among other roguelikes.
There's also a mobile version if you have a lot of extra time but not a lot of access to a PC.
Psychonauts 2 is $5. It's an absolute masterpiece; do yourself a favor and play it.
Cities Skylines is $3.
The Tomb Raider reboot trilogy with all DLCs is only $10.
Slime Rancher is $2.
Mad Max is $2.
The Mass Effect Legendary Edition is also only $5.
There's honestly TONS of great deals this sale, I'm a little overwhelmed.
Edit: idk how it converts to euros, but those are the ones I'd personally recommend on the cheap side.
Massively recommend psychonauts 2, but also 1 is absolutely still holding up in my opinion

Terraria
Darkest Dungeon, Jedi Fallen Order, and Titanfall 2 are all super cheap. Darkest Dungeon pissed me off 15 hours in or so, enough to ragequit the game, and I'd still consider it well worth the current price.
Disco Elysium and the original Hades are also great buys at 10€.

Of you like x-com I'd recommend Tactical Beach Wizards. Bit on the higher side of 16 USD unfortunately.
The combo balatro + brotato is killing my free time. Then i think you should have some spare change for slime rancher, if you want something chill

Buying Balatro on mobile was the worst best decision I've ever made
Is it good on mobile? I'm not super interested in playing it on PC, but it looked like a good time wasting mobile game
It is ported pretty smoothly. The only downside for me is that there is no cross progression if you played in PC before, but that apparently will be added in the future
If you're into older rpgs, i would wholeheartedly recommend the Gothic trilogy. Will fit just under 5$, but they're absolutely insane value for the money. With that you'll also get Archolos for free, which has blown all expectations away entirely. This mod ended up being better than a lot of big-budget titles I've played, and they've done it all out of pocket
I picked up Dave the diver + dlc for something around 18€. Have been playing it all day and can highly recommend it.

case of the golden idol.
Both Enter the Gungeon and Crosscode are 70% off right now, and some of the best games I've ever played. If you can still afford it I would throw Hollow Knight or Crystal Project in there as well.
