The match was supposed to have kicked off 20 mins ago. The stadium is packed with 70k fans, but the pitch is empty with neither team on the field.

Not much details about a reason, but some are unfortunately speculating there might be political issues, as a bust of Qassem Suleimani was placed inside the stadium just before the match. I hope the it doesn't get called off for such petty reasons, plus there's a real risk of a riot if the match gets cancelled this late.

Sadly this is why Asian football has a ceiling. There’s always something like this that can happen.
