IIRC the only reason Sub-Zero was in MK1 was because the SNES cartridge had juuuust enough room for new moves, but not for a new character model; hence the pallette swap.

He's Weyoun's Kameo as a reluctant alliance. He can crash the Defiant into your opponent. His hidden attack is to hire out a simple tailor for an assassination.
Oh thank goodness, I've had his gardener coming around, but I sure am glad I haven't run into this tailor.
