Here's some things I absolutely can't stand in any watches personally:

  • Rubber or Fabric straps. Rubber gets stale very soon with time or sunlight and crinkly and unflexible. Fabric starts getting softer or losing color easily until it rips or becomes completely colorless

  • Watches that use a traditional dial and a digital dial built into that one at the same time. It gets confusing often.

  • Watches that utilize hard to service movements if they require constant servicing more than normal

  • Watches that have fully square or rectangular cases

  • Watches in which the case is too bulky and large in proportion to the strap

I really hate calendar subdials. Pointer date subdial is okay if it's the only one, but to me there is just no excuse to do month and day subdials when you could do month and day wheels for the same number of parts (and the same thickness if you already have a date wheel present).

Triple calendar style is dramatically cleaner looking!

I’ve never liked most Divers for their large bezels. On the other hand I want a Moonwatch because I think it’s amazing (even before I learned how popular it is).

Yeah I’m weird like that.
