Like father like son

He’s about to have an insane season

[–] RogueIsCrap@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Has he grown even taller since being drafted? That’s a crazy dunk for a 6’4 dude.

Jaylen Brown lite, could overtake him in two years

[–] Mycrene@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Maybe the dumbest take I have heard.

[–] mitchtoe@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Ant took his dribbles with his left hand on the drive btw

[–] PirbyKuckett@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Woke up my neighbors on that one

[–] Slim-Ticket@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Wow that dunk was almost in slow motion, he hung in the air above the rim before slamming it down. Beautiful

Also the classic Ant three that leads to the opposing coach calling a timeout haha. I'll never forget that time he motioned to the Rockets coach to call a timeout and was like "hey coach call a timeout! I'm hot!!" 🤣

[–] XthaNext@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Timeout mannnn!

exactly what i was thinking - he cannot be 6'4

[–] Itsyaboibiggyt@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Bruh this guys a menace

[–] ImS33@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You know Rudy knew what he did when he started to preemptively argue with the ref but it was a no call lol

[–] New_Essay_4869@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I think Ant is ready for his accension into the MVP conversation this season.

[–] itsjustanotheralt83@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

His dunks are so damn aesthetically pleasing. Tbh it terms of cool factor to watch I rank them over Ja

He’s the one Jack!

[–] white__box@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I'm not the only one who sees Milton's travel before the kickout am I?

[–] sewsgup@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

i swear the only Bulls game ive seen start to finish in recent memory was the Diar DeRozan game— and I feel like the only plays I ever see Vucevic make are missing top of the key 3s and getting scored on defensively

When did he change his number?

[–] Thimit22@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He was 1 last season, 5 now. The 5th of the month is the day his mom and grandmother died in the same year on the 5th of different months. His number was always 5 before pro too. And his bday is on the 5th of August too

[–] Slim-Ticket@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

It's in memory of his mom and grandma who died from cancer on the 5th day of the month. Both died within months of each other when he was 13, pretty sad story.

[–] WigginsDickRider@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

he always wore 5 but when he got drafted malik beasley was wearing it so he went with 1 (A1 from day 1). he swapped with SloMo this year

[–] alex_119@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I love how can you can just feel the “dawg” in some players

[–] denverblazer@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

This is a quality quality highlight. 😙👌

[–] Guerillabasketball@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He's right on the cusp of superstardom

[–] delamerica93@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Ant is truly a superhuman athlete. You cannot allow him to run toward the rim ever

[–] Thimit22@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

For sure. How many players can do a dunk like this then swish a 3 too? Only 22 years old. Potential is literally limitless

[–] delamerica93@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I can't think of many lol, maybe like Shaedon Sharpe? Like physically capable maybe haha

[–] Thimit22@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I'm not an NBA expert by any means, and I'm sure there's a few out there haha. Just the way the game is evolving

[–] ekb2023@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I'm rock hard.

[–] im_ok_@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I like how he dunks. Not quite T-Mac levels with the stupid cock-back and leg action but damn close to some Michael Finley levels of authority

[–] Ucscprickler@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The selfish part of me wishes Edward's fell to #2 so the Warriors could snatch him in that draft, but the empathetic side of me realizes that the Warriors already have Curry, Wiggins, and Kuminga due to historic Wolves front office ineptitude, and is happy that this worked out for them and their fans.

[–] mashupsnshit@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I don't see how this happens for a full year lol...

Homie, you gonna dunk on me on some disrespectful shit? I'm tossing your legs and let's see you do it again.

RIP 90s sports

[–] Affectionate-Act-245@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He does kind of remind me of jordan in his tempo with the ball

[–] FlipAnd1@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Better than Morant!

[–] sfw_sasuke@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

i'd love for this guy to make a big leap this year

[–] Wysbby28@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Why’s he switched jersey from no. 1 to 5?

[–] Slim-Ticket@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

He's always been 5 before the NBA but Malik Beasley had the number so he took 1. Now he changed back and swapped with Slomo.

5 is a special number to him bc it's in memory of his mom and grandma. They both died from cancer on the 5th of the month. It's pretty sad, they died within months of each other when he was 13.

[–] Wysbby28@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Damn I had no clue.

Glad he’s got 5 back, dude’s tough.

[–] Slim-Ticket@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Yea he didn't have his father in his life either so he and his siblings basically raised each other. Honestly it's amazing that they didn't end up on the street and have a good head on their shoulders

[–] realBahubali@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I really like how he rides for his teammates as well. Dude is likable and a leader. Think him and Dillion Brooks are now my favorite players.

[–] RVAIsTheGreatest@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

We all know exciting a player Ant is but what's most important to witness is the processing growth you're seeing out of him. His jumper looks cleaner too as u/Janderson2494 said. It won't be entirely linear but you're seeing real growth as a processor on the floor, in reading the game and making the right plays and taking what the defense gives him. That's going to make him all the more dangerous.

[–] comment0freshmaker@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Is that a travel when Edwards dribbles up to Caruso?

[–] MakesYourMise@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Caruso getting abused lol

[–] polarbearstoenails_@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago
[–] thealternateopinion@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Vince Carter energy

[–] PaperMoon-@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Did he change his no. Or am I tripping
