When a player falls down in a play, 99% of fans will say foul and 99% of the opposing fans will say flop. Truly, the refs should be compensated with millions because they have the hardest job in NBA.

Idk why we need a flopping rule…. just, don’t call a foul? If someone flops and doesn’t get their desired result, they’re probably putting themselves/their team in a bad position on the play and that’s punishment enough imo.

So… it’s a “flop” to show the hand-check that happened two different times that’s not being called. For a generation that complains about “well they took hand checking out of the NBA” he sure has his hand on Reeves hip all the way on his drives.

IMO not at all. He jumped ai lettle off balance, fell. It's basically "nothing", "siga la pelota".
So the karate kick with the right leg was a product of being off balance? No, he was desperately trying to force contact…and failed/flailed.
I think if he did this while contact was being made, it's 100% a flop. Him starting the action without anyone touching him isn't a flop, just weird. but idk
Soon on one of those flops he will end up with season ending injury with enough time to think and realize that he can score a lot more by not doing that and avoiding injury.

I was watching a game the other night and an NBA officiating rep explained the new rule with a visual ie. Marcus Smart. This will 100% be penalized this season due to the unnatural and exaggerated actions.
