zubac was actually great on defense to start last season but it seemed like he slowed down due to fatigue probably because we were relying too much as our only center. hoping he can sustain that level of play throughout the season now that we have plumlee as a legit backup to start the season

Zubac is better post player i think..but they will prolly go back and forth. Dont take anything seriously in the preseason its ymca basketball.

Watch Plumlee every possession. Really, focus on him. He does something inexplicably stupid every single time. It never fails, trust me. And I’m not being a hater, he’s one of my favorite players to watch.

You gotta watch stuff that happens off the ball, and you gotta watch defense. Zubac is the 3rd most important part of their offense, and arguably the most important part of their defense. He understands his role, sets good screens, grabs rebounds, makes the right play, and scares everyone at the rim.

Mason is a good backup center. He is an awful defender, and any opponent is happy to go up against him. He has a lot of value, but the Clippers are dead in the water if he’s their starting center for the season.

Zubac is the much better defender and Plumlee is himself basically a playmaking/creating offensive center off the bench that's mobile. Plumlee statistically is one of the weakest centers in the league in FG% allowed at the rim and Zubac is statistically one of the better centers. You're very wrong on your analysis....Zubac has consistently been a strong presence for the Clips in terms of their team defense and net rating.

How many people defending zu in the comments is outrageous in my books!! Trust me i use to defend him as well when he joined us but lets be real,he hasn't developed anything else over the past 4 1/2 years with us! he use to have more drive but now hes just too flat footed vs a fast tempo nba now in days,plumlee in my eyes has alot more to offer with his speed and vertical especially his court vision when he is being guarded..id perfer zu to come off the bench and dominate other teams weaker bench centers because i know he would take full advantage of it...and before i get attacked for MY Opinion just watch how ty lue kept bring plumlee in vs the buns on the playoffs last year and that'll paint a better picture how much plumlee gives more heart than zu 🥱
