Lol as someone who works in PE. No one cares what your watch is.

What I meant was that being a finance student what watch do you think I need as in thermos of features. I mean it’s worthless getting an Apple Watch if I don’t use the features at all right!!!

You don't need any of them. But what would you use the watch for? If you would use all of the features of a smart watch, then you know which one you should get.

If you just want something to tell the time, then don't get a smart watch.

I don't care about or want the Apple watch features, so I don't have one.

If you want/need smart features I hear good things about apple watch. Personally I don't need any smart feature that apple watch offer, so I prefer a regular watch.

If you are active person and that's a major part of your life then ironman might make sense. But for general smart clean outfits you'll do better with an analogue watch.

By day-date I think you mean Rolex? If your financial situation allows it that could a good purchase. But usually student budget isn't that high, so you might stand out from your peers(maybe not, depending on the school).

I think a more budget friendly analogue watch would likely be a better option in general. A good all rounder purchase might be something like Seiko SRPE55, which will go well with anything. But it doesn't stand out style wise, so you might want to consider other options that works well with your general outfit style if you want something that stands out stylistically.
