I’ve never watched him play and thought that
NBA - Main
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
I don't even know who he is and thought that too.
and we have a bigger young Kawhaaiiiiii-kun
He do
No
Kawhi is not a bust like Patrick Williams
Williams isn’t a bust…
Is he not tho?
He turned 22 like a month ago and is already a starting caliber wing who plays good defense and shoots 40% from three. I think there’s probably more to his game than he’s able to show in Chicago, but even if there isn’t, he’s a solid player.
Look at the rest of the lottery from his draft if you think he’s a bust just because of draft position, he’s better than most of them.
Kawhi won Finals MVP against Bron at 22 years old.
This is why PWill is getting the extra criticism in this thread, ludicrous to make that comparison when he hasn’t done nearly enough
Yes, this thread is silly and we should not be comparing Patrick Williams to Kawhi. But just because he isn’t Kawhi doesn’t make him a bust.
Just about any project wings getting compared to Kawhi these days smh
Except he’s not that good
The number of people who have been comped to Kawhi because they're big wings with some physical tools, without understanding that Kawhi's development trajectory was easily in the top 1 percentile and not replicable by just anyonr, is insane to me.
Kawhi is the one in a million Patrick Williams-type players that becomes a superstar.
As a bulls fan he'll have flashes, especially in the mid range but he's not even close to early kawhi athletically and his handle/drive game still really stinks.
I would also say he just has OK feel as a cutter and isn't a great rebounder which has got him in the dog house with Billy donovan.
Looks like him, doesn't play like him.
If only he played half as well as Kawhi..
I still think PWill can end up being a really good player, but he’s not gonna be Kawhi. This year’s probably make or break for him
It's because he looks stiff and kinda going at his own pace despite being a great athlete. Almost an "upright" nature to his game. But in regards to actual talent, no.
This is hilarious to me cuz kawhis first few years in the league I would tell anyone who listened that Kawhi was on his way to being one of the best players in the world and anyone outside of hardcore spurs fans laughed. Revisionist history I guess.
Did you guys ever notice the thing people noticed so long ago that nephews have forgotten it was ever noticed in the first place?
Guys?
Guys?
Cool question from a dude at pat williams agent’s agency!
