I have a milestone birthday coming up and have just begun the recon mission on finding a piece that will complement, but not directly compete with anything I currently have. Not into overly dressy or rectangular watches. 39-43mm range under $10k. No Rolex, I've had a few and I didn't like the attention they got. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you can snag a used simple Breguet or Vacheron with a leather strap for under 10k, it could add some diversity and a cleaner look to wear with a suit.
I’d get a non-chronograph pilots watch. Oris Propilot Big Date or and IWC Mark XX / Big Pilot’s Watch 43.

I would say Zenith Chronomaster (either original or sport), Glasshutte Original SeaQ, JLC Polaris (especially in a blue dial), Grand Seiko White Birch or snowflake.

I would be happy with those pieces and look for a microbrand beater or Casio. I'd even trade in a few of them for a zenith or jlc moon phase

Wif this is all you want I'd get a SS sub Date.
If you want something different I'd get a dress watch. Something thin and classic on leather like a JLC ultra Master thin. Or a Cartier Tank must.
If you just want sport watch I'd get something on rubber or Nato. Maybe an Omega world timer . Or Breitling Super ocean heritage would fit your style.

I love your collection, I would add a Grand seiko, omega deville gmt on a brick road bracelet. Perhaps a cool zelios mother of pearl gmt.

Great collection, I’d add the glycine airman 36m for my gmt watch of choice and Cartier pasha/ ceinture as my dressier occasion watch. Pretty nice collection though. I really respect Breitlings! Too big for me unfortunately:(
