So I bought my first rolex 2 days ago. I wore it to work and I have noticed people eyeballing it including my boss. Some people even asked to see it and if it's real. I haven't noticed anyone else wear one. For context I work with engineers, architects, and project managers. Most everyone dresses very casual including myself. Am I a total Dbag for wearing this or am I over thinking it.

If you’re afraid to wear it to work, you bought the wrong watch 🤪 WEAR IT WITH NO REGRET

Keep wearing it. You wont even think about it after a few days.

Idk I am a warehouse manager and I wear a Tudor BB everyday to work. My boss is a Gshock collector and he and I talk about watches all the time. No one ever says anything to me. Although I recognize that Subs are a hell of a lot more expensive and more easily recognized.

Wear whatever the fuck you want and stop worrying what others think.

Nice watch

Two thoughts on this. One, wear whatever you want whenever and wherever you want. But two, also consider that certain watches are more appropriate in certain contexts, and Rolex or not, a two-tone is slightly “fancier” to the average person than a plain steel watch.

You can put it on a strap if you're that worried but if you wear it like it belongs on your wrist everyone else will think it does too
