I watched the Spurs and Golden State preseason game and Klay was chucking up shots and bricking all of them like the playoffs…. Do ya think he ever coming back? I feel bad for the guy.

No. He can still be a very helpful player but I don’t think we’re ever gonna see his peak again. Doesn’t mean he’ll be throwing up bricks like last playoffs though

Probably not. He is going to be 34 and most NBA players decline post 30 years old

Klay in the preseason is just like pre and post-injury Klay, minus the All-defense

He’s gonna be doing that for most the season. It’s his contract year, and he wants the bag. Whether he’ll be successful with it, only time will tell.

Dude shot more 3's per game than he ever has last year, by a huge margin, and he made them at a 41% clip, his career average. His shot is fine. Chill out a little, it's the preseason.

His defense will never be the same, but that's not what you're talking about. Truth is you don't know what you're talking about.

This but less aggressive

Damn, found Klay's burner

Dude led the league in 3's made last year

He was also ass from 2.

No all shooters are not as streaky as Klay, idk where you got that from.

Chill out a little

Hey Klay, we love you but sometimes you just gotta let it go.

I figured Warriors fans had grown up by now…

at some point you’d think fans would understand who klay is and games like that are a part of the experience.

how is our fanbase this dumb…

i don't think it's impossible but those injuries are basically the worst any athlete can endure and on top of that, he's just not getting any younger

[–] ParticularEggplant16@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Every year he starts off with a brick fest, I'm not worried about his offense

It is natural to age into a backup role. Klay is entering that realm and he should embrace it along with the Warriors. His best contributions would come as being part of the second unit and his contract extension should reflect the smaller role. $20-23 million range per season is fair. He can become a microwave scorer off the bench and allow team defense to cover his declining athleticism.

If this Klay would just shoot 3s and nothing else I would consider him still a very good player but he does too much of other stuff and his defense is no longer there
