The season is about to start so I want to know y'alls top players in the league right now. Since nearly everyone agrees that Jokic & Giannis are the top two, how would you rank the next 10?

Imo:

  1. Steph Curry
  2. Luka Doncic
  3. Jayson Tatum
  4. Kevin Durant
  5. Joel Embiid
  6. Jimmy Butler
  7. Anthony Davis
  8. Damian Lillard
  9. Devin Booker
  10. LeBron James

“Third best player in the League” Tier —

Embiid, Steph, Luka, Durant

Next Tier —

Tatum, AD, LeBron, Butler

Bron is a better rebounder, passer, rim-attacker, and probably a better defender.

I just listened to the Thinking Basketball pod in this, thought his rankings were quite interesting. He likes to do ranges to account for uncertainty they’re in brackets where I remember them

  3. Curry (2-6)
  4. Kevin Durant (3-?)
  5. Embiid (2-?)
  6. AD (?)
  7. Doncic (6-8)
  8. Tatum
  9. Butler (8-11)
  10. Lillard (8-11)

HM: Lebron, Booker (both 8-12)

He kinda had a couple groupings 3-5: Curry KD Embiid and 9-12: Butler Lillard Lebron Booker

Steph is 3, Embiid is 4. The rest can be scrambled however one chooses to. But those two are locked in as #3 and #4. Unquestionably.

IMO there’s a tier of guys there that are pretty much interchangeable. Steph, Bron, Luka, Durant, Tatum, and Embiid. Any order is somewhat valid.
