I have my Grandads watch from the mid Ninetys, and the battery has stopped again, I am trying to Identify the movement to find the correct battrey. I can read Miyota 1 jewel unadjusted on the left and push 4u10 on the right.

I googled 4u10 and it suggested a sr916sw battery. But when I tried to fit on it was too big. I would like to wear the watch but need to replace the battery first. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The references I've seen mention the same battery (373 = SR916SW). How much bigger was the battery? Note that quartz watch batteries need to be very snug in their socket, so you may just have mistaken some resistance/tightness in fit for excess size.

At least 25% difference.

I've also come across references saying it's interchangeable for movement 4U13 (which is apparently an older one, although both now obsolete).

The 4U13 uses a 321/SR616SW battery, same height but smaller diameter.
