Found this watch at home not working, went to the jeweller, they said even with a new battery it doesn’t work. Is it worth checking out what the problem is? I like it but im considering buying a new working one anyway.

I would only get it repaired if some sort of memory is associated with it like it used to be a relative's or something. Otherwise it's probably not worth it as it might be expensive enough that it would be cheaper to just buy a new one.

Probably not, but if there’s nothing to lose you could try your hand at it. It likely uses a Miyota movement you can buy online for a few dollars.
