Why do games never start on time? (alien.top)

I have noticed that almost every single nba game I have ever watched starts anywhere from 5-15 minutes later than when it says it will start. I live in the UK and this never happens in any sports that I know of. It always seems like they just start at a random time and it annoys me. Does anyone know why this is?

TNT does a really good job of hitting their tip times. ESPN does not.
