I love my SARB017 Alpinist because it has horological significance, it's automatic, it's a "real watch" (imo), and made to wear outdoors with the mountaineering theme. Are there any other automatic watches out there with similar themes? I'm not interested in smart watches or big clunky tactical survival watches.

The classics would be the Rolex Explorer and Smith's Everest - the two modern versions of the watches that submitted Mount Everest.

Pay those you also have things like the Tudor Ranger, Hamilton Khaki, and other military/field watch derived models - modern takes on the dirty dozen or A11 watches - brands like Bertucci or Bolder, and practical choices like the Citizen Promasters or Timex Expeditions (though a lot of those are quartz).

You can get all the imaginary watches that you can imagine getting, but you can't get any imaginary watch that you can't imagine getting.
