Victor Wembanyama and Tim Duncan had an eerily similar NBA debut (15 PTS/ 2 AST/ 6-9FG)

Wemby is the best prospect for the Spurs since Tim Duncan and they had nearly identical NBA debuts. Although Wemby got himself in early foul trouble, he finally started cooking in the 4th quarter when he scored 9 points. The future looks bright for the Spurs.

Slow down there buddy cause you really sound like you really dont know how great Tim Duncan was. Dude could carry a team to a championship. Very few players who have played the game could do that.

If 15 points terrifies you, you should see what Blake Grifin did his rookie season.

Tim Wembanyama? Victor Duncan? Victor Tim? Wembanyama Duncan?

We will see how wembanyama looks later in the season but Lively looked like the best rookie on the floor yesterday. Wemban i expect to start showing the league later in the season why he was number 1. Don’t know if he will be Duncan level his rookie season though. As a Mavericks fan I’m glad they finally got a really good center. Its the missing piece they needed.

Wasn't David Robinson 32 when Duncan was drafted. Imagine if they picked up embiid for a new age twin towers
