The record had stood 34 (nice) years and was held by Terry Cummings with 34 (again, nice) points.

Aside from the silly coincidences, tonight was a fantastic game from Dame while Giannis struggled as a roll man (didn't do much of it under Bud). Reads he'd make went unnoticed and here's hoping the chemistry develops, as Giannis promised would take a little time before tonight's game.

On Oct. 18, 1969, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar recorded 29 points in his debut with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The next year, the big O had 15/5/4 in his Bucks debut

Giannis , as a very young and raw Buck played 4.43 minutes for 1 point in 2013
