+18 in a loss is so weird to see
NBA - Main
Game analysis, highlights and everything else that is happening in the NBA.
This feels like a game neither team should be that happy about.
Durant was heroic in a loss, but looking worn down at the end ... and it's only game 2 of the season.
The Lakers pulled out a win against a team that is missing two of its best three players ... by having LeBron play way more minutes than is sustainable for him. The Lakers have two days off but man, if you're counting off-days after game 2, that's concerning.
So much wrong with that statement. Its the 2nd game of the season, players need time to ramp up so looking gassed after 40 minutes is very common.
The Suns without 2 of their 3 best players (and many would argue their best player) kept it competitive against a team trying to win everything. Sure the bench players shut down in the last quarter but chances are most of them wont be on the court during those moments when everyones back.
players need time to ramp up
If you're playing guys more minutes/carrying a heavier load than their conditioning supports, that's asking for an injury.
He KD needed time to ramp up (which he hasn't in prior seasons when he came in healthy) then they shouldn't have been asking this much of him.
They were playing without Booker and Beal. Relax.
How was Lebron and KD both a +20 in the same game? We’re their substitution patterns completely opposite?
u/NotManyBuses said it best. Yeah, there are some things to clean up for the Suns. But there is so much to be encouraged by after the first two games. KD's absolutely still got it and an incredible scorer. He's seen every kind of defensive look you can throw at him and he has a counter to em all...we know he's a great scorer but it was his contributions on the boards and defensively that stick out most to me...he's playing with a great edge so far.
He smoked lbj
That's crazy, so the team was -23 in the 9 mins he was off the floor???
