They also boast the 3rd best 3rd down conversion % and the 5th best red zone TD conversion %.

I don't have any PFF data to support this, but Jessie Bates is a fucking dude. I felt like he and the defense was a huge part of why Cincy was so good. Now I think I have my answer since he's balling and ATL defense is really good. Also Grady Jarrett has been one of the best DTs in his tenure.

Bates is currently PFF's #1 safety. We paid him a lot of money and so far he is worth every penny.

I gotta give a shout-out to David Onyemata as well. It's like having another Grady Jarrett out there!

Bates, Okudah, Terrell, and Grant have really put in some good work out there.

I'm hoping to see more turnovers and sacks out of it soon.

It’s almost like sacks are a glory stat that doesn’t really paint a good picture of how impactful something is.
