Ballmer.

Fun fact; when J.P. Morgan Chase/MSG Group still owned the nearby-Forum (same one the Showtime Lakers played in the 80s), they were ready to sue Ballmer for constructing the Intuit Done without an EIR/EIS mandated for building construction in California.

Ballmer bought the Forum himself using ‘fuck you’ money. And he was able to bypass that EIR/EIS requirement. All with ‘fuck you’ money. He’s boat shit-rich.

Intuit Dome sounds like this kinda cool thing that’ll never get finished because of some apocalyptic event, and then when we’re all wearing Mad Max leather around a fire we’ll be talking about how the seating would have gone straight back.
