Hey there,

I’m looking to start a paid newsletter and curious if there is a difference between the aforementioned and a membership.

I’m sure I can have aspects of a membership for my newsletter like charging a subscription, offering and upselling products and such.

Are there other things that set a paid newsletter apart from a membership or are they essentially the same thing?

Paid newsletter is only pay to read what you publish. Membership is that you give access to more like connecting with members, videos, templates...

What is the niche?

A paid newsletter typically provides subscribers with exclusive written content for a fee, while a membership program offers a broader range of content and benefits, often including newsletters, but also more interactive features and perks.

A paid newsletter subscription is only that, i.e. you pay to receive information in print or online. A MEMBERSHIP, however, has all sorts of other perks beyond just info. For example a membership site login, weekly calls, videos, course access, community, etc.

Hi and thank you for your reply! Do you have any advice on when to launch one over the other?
