Investing in watches is a bad idea, because watches change in value like cars, i.e. they start depreciating dramatically the moment they leave the authorized dealer.
I really don't understand where people get the idea to invest in watches - just looking at secondhand/grey market prices should be indication enough that resale value for nearly all watches is substantially less than original price.
