The blocks aren't the crazy part. Victor actually almost trips on his own feet and then has to turn completely around to even be able to contest the dunk let alone block it. In so few games he has had quite a few instances where he is actually beat or in a bad position but somehow contest or just outright blocks the shot anyway. Dude really is like the first son of planet longboi.

It’s the difference i’m noticing with chet and wemby. Chet had to time and do traditional blocks. Wemby is such a god created freak, he doesn’t need proper positioning or timing. It’s fucking crazy. Never seen such.

we were so focused on Wemby's offensive game, no one talked about his defensive side.. and when discussions began about how many DPOY's he might win in his career... I was like whaaat? I know he's a prototype but I'm starting to see a lot of Olajuwon and David Robinson in him
