This picture doesn't inspire confidence. I mean John looks fine. He looks like he'd be the new guy but still entirely competent.
Hal looks way too old, and they straight up gave him grey hair. He doesn't get the hair wings in the comics until he gets possessed by Parallax.
From what I understand, this universe is going to start off with everything already in full swing as far as superheroes and shit goes. Guy Gardner is in the Superman movie as well. So it makes sense to me that Hal has already been around and doing his thing for a little while.
