I'm working in gym space. Have homemade modified equipment for adaptive training for kids and adults with disabilities. If I were to try and manufacturer some of these at scale to get in the hands of more people, how bad would the product liability insurance typically be?

Is it dependent specifically on the product and how it's used? Would it be under more scrutiny because it's in the special needs industry? Just getting some feelers before I start making initial phone calls to learn about the process.

Product liability insurance can vary widely depending on the product and industry. Might be worth checking with your state's non-profit insurance programs, they often have more affordable options.
