My company works with proffessional graphics workstations and unupgradable laptops are a huge chunk of my company's costs whenever they need repairs or obsolete.

Is there any plans to make a proffesional card for the FW16 graphics expansion?

Thanks.

I think posts like this are odd to me. I get that it’s an inquiry. But the company hasn’t even shipped the first FW16 and we are asking for things down the line.

The company is 3 years old. It’s probably not looking to fill and niche yet.

Also your company works with upgradeable laptops? Like what? It’s also double concerning you spelled professional wrong…thrice.

It was edited after my initial post. Many changes have been made. But thanks for the smart ass response.

Thanks for the correction. I didn't notice that while typing on my phone.

Wouldn't the professional GPU in an external TB4 enclosure be a good fit for your use case? I don't know if they work with the AMD systems though, but shouldn't be an issue on the Intel based ones.

Should be fine with AMD too because of USB4 working with TB3 enclosures.

What kind are you talking about? Nvidia RTX A series? AMD RX Pro?

Yeah sort of like that. Currently using old 10 year old quadros and firepro laptops and workstations. Looking for an upgrade as equipment are sort of failing. Especially the firepros.

What apps is your company using? Are they only Nvidia compatible and demand CUDA? Adobe's apps do work with AMD Radeon which would include FW16's Radeon 7700S dedicated GPU.
