Is the “in season tournament”
This is the lamest name for any competition ever of anything.
WNBA has the commissioners cup. That’s a fucking cool name and not hard to come up with.
The lack of marketing or PR person saying “we should actually give this tournament a name” truly, truly astounds and hurts me
Most of these courts are god awful. I hope this tournament dies before the Sonics come back. We don’t need a bright gold court destroying our retinas.

I honestly don't understand the Mavs one. Like why that color scheme? Our entire fanbase is just begigng to go back to the Retro Blue and Green scheme instead we keep getting these muted boring designs.
I don't hate the idea, I just hate that some of these courts use the awful City Edition designs like Indiana.
Finals logo better be on the court this year that's all i'm gonna say
NBA needs to fire whoever is in charge of these graphics. Between the jerseys and these god forsaken courts shit has been uglier than ever

Gotta love the NBA. Focusing on all their efforts on shiny stuff instead of making the game more enjoyable to watch. Please just Copy/Paste the NFL format with actual divisions so we can have rivalries, less games so the players will care, and a playoff format that doesn't last over 2 months.

Can someone eli5 how the tournament works? Is it just outside of the 82 game schedule? So some teams potentially could play more games in season than others?
The Raptors court looks clean af ngl. The Lakers one will hurt my eyes lol no wonder why they went with black as the main colour for the city jersey.

Why this is zany and crazy, and I love it. It’s gonna make me watch all the games that I can and enjoy the advertising that they’re showing me! I can’t believe they gave us the opportunity to enjoy the game even more!
You know what...fuck it, have fun with it. Some of em are kinda meh or got it the wrong way around (like the Lakers and Knicks need to flip the colors), but overall I'm not mad at the idea

I think it's so they separate from just regular season games bc they will actually be both.
So when you see the special court you know that's a game counting towards the Cup or whatever

This entire thing is totally unnecessary. Just give Seattle and Vegas their teams, move Minnesota to the East, cancel the Play-In, and we are all good.
