My grandfather left me this Rolex, but I’m looking for something a little bit less flashy to wear as an ‘everyday watch’. I’m partial to vintage looking watches and ideally would have an automatic movement. I’ve had a leather band in mind and FWIW I’m visiting Paris next month so was thinking getting a watch while there would give the purchase some sentimental value. Appreciate the recommendations!
This is nice your grandpa left you the watch so that you can sell it to buy something you like more to be reminded your grandpa left you the Rolex. Makes perfect sense. Instead to keep the memory of him with you and pass it on just buy something cheap and spend the rest of the money. Who needs memories right.
Paris is fucked, don’t wear an uninsured or irreplaceable watch.
