well, they’ve done it here and taken a turn for the worse. This watch is being launched tonight. glycine has long been regarded as a great entry level Swiss brand and their automatic diver style watches are respected among collectors. about seven years ago, they were fading brand and Invicta bought them. CEO Mr Lallo said he would never weaken the brand and always keep them Swiss made. Up until now they have been that way with few complaints. Tonight they are doing their first collab branding Glycine x Invicta. It’s not a terrible looking chronograph., not worse than an entry-level, Tissot. But it’s assembled in China……. So much for promises. it must be too expensive to have a watch that’s even 60% Swiss made to qualify for the label. on the bright side at least it’s only a 41 mm chronograph.
