S01E25 - Conspiracy
It's like the goriest scene in Star Trek. Pretty hard for me to forget, I think it probably scarred me as a child lmao
This episode was great! It started a whole series of episodes telling the story of the parasites.
What? They showed this, then totally forgot they had this fantastic hook for lots more episodes? Boo.
It was decided by suits that it was too gory (not broadcast in UK? initially) so they reworked the idea into the Borg.
But this idea did get revisited and played out in the Relaunch novelverse. Huzzah for Treklit.
as a kid, The Headless Horseman was exactly the last thing i wanted to see outside my window at night.. for some reason of all the spooky stories, that one really made me fear the bad guy more than any other.. that flaming pumpkin in his hand, man..
