Good day.

Looking for advice on finding investors for a timber plantation startup.

I have 2 properties of 150 hectares each. I would like to plant 60 000 hard wood timber trees on each property.

The trees are fast growing & high oxygen producing. The lumber would be exported to the EU market. I have a contract in place already for the sale of the lumber (guaranteed sale of the lumber.)

Any help with any investors interested in the timber industry would be greatly appreciated.

Timber market is not the problem. Problem is the price for standing timber (assume you will not be making profit from cutting down the trees and shipping them to EU market). Then the length of time to wait, resulting in low NPV. 300 hectares would seem too small for most investors. If you have the land and looking for ways to use it, start with something that can generate cash flow faster. If you really need hardwood for such small scale, do it on the side.

300 hectares would equal 180 000 trees. Which is a significant number.
