Hey Guys,

These are probably dumb questions so apologies.

I run a small SEO agency with a few clients. I’m a one man band and it’s becoming quite tough.

I’m still just figuring out everything as I go.

But is there a rule of thumb for when I could hire my first employee ?

It’s worth noting that I have minimal overheads, live off £900 a month and pay myself minimum wage.

I guess my questions are:

A) How much does it cost to take on a minimum wage employee (UK) ?

B) At what point of revenue/profit would it make sense to hire someone for minimum wage?

C) Any general tips would be much appreciated.

Like I said, I’m pretty new to the game so apologies if these questions sound dumb.

You know, you can always receive high-quality lead generation services that can match or even surpass the results you'd expect from local providers.

The best part? You can access these services at rates up to 65% lower than what you'd typically pay. We ensure this at https://workwizards.notion.site/workwizards/WorkWizards-bdf09f18586d4911a35345e694969fa9

Hi! Maybe it’s time to research VA’s? Virtual assistants can take any activity off your plate, business wise. It depends on the business what they want to delegate, so all options are open (lead gen, video editing, cold messaging, finding affiliates, searching for influencers in your niche, etc).

Hope this helps a bit, if you have any questions or have other suggestions, let me know!

That sounds great!

You’re probably right, i should consider a VA instead. It would take about 5 hours of lead Gen off my plate.

In terms of employing someone, just out of curiousity and for developing my own business knowledge - is there a rule of thumb around when you should get your first employee or what revenue mark would make sense ?
