I don’t get why people are surprised. Yes it’s overall a poor effort but the whole season has been ball to Sane and inshala.

We just haven’t played quality opponents to punish us. Heide and Gala dominated us. Tuchel has no idea to save his life how to play in possession and he does not know how to make a defensive solid team

I guess it’s still early and he has made Sane into world class. But there is no plan to play in possession no way to control games in possession. It’s to bad this years CL is for a taking.

The biggest, BIGGEST problem under Tuchel is that we can’t deal with a press, AT ALL. Istg every other team does better than us when it comes to playing out a press but we just can’t do it no matter what XI we play. So far we’ve been getting away with it but once we face a serious team who knows how to press we’ll be absolutely done

So when is tuchel getting sacked?

Is it a mentality problem with the players that they don’t switch on until the second half? Why did it only start this season? Or is this a tactical problem - that Tuchel and co are not planning for matches properly and can only set up the team properly after watching 45 mins of the other team’s play?

You guys blame whoever you want but there was a time I was enjoying watching those players, but now I feel I am wasting my time.

Saarbrucken is exhausted. Can tell in the desperation of their pass and shot defenses. This is part of the reason we dominate the 2nd half so frequently. Our fresh legs are a class above the competition. Tuchel seems to be aware of this as well and he's benefited from those late game substitutions that have made the difference against these worse teams we have not outclassed like we should.

We are too good to be winning by virtue of attrition only, but I'll take what we can get.
