Really happy with the choice I made to have a dresskx as my first mechanical watch! Wears very nicely on my baby wrists but I’m thinking of buying a new bracelet for it from uncle seiko for example to improve the comfort and such, maybe a nice fun nato to it as well🤷🏻‍♂️ anyhow, I’m planning on getting a second watch soon with a budget of somewhere within 1k euro (+-100 is fine) and I was thinking of something more dressy to have some flexibility, although that mop prx 35 does look sweet lol. Or should I go for something like a Christopher ward C65 Dune? Lmk what you guys think

Tissot gentleman, secondhand sinn 556 (might be a hair over budget), secondhand nomos club campus.

I’ve had my eye on Sinn 104s. If you watch you can sometimes catch them at $1000-1100.

I want one.

Have the limited 104 with the blue dial and it’s an awesome watch. Can’t go wrong with it or the 556.

Frederique Constant

Ild say (personal choice) Hamilton Khaki Fied / Murph or a Frederique Constant. You could get some nice Longines on Chrono24 for this price aswell

Honestly even with that budget I'd go for an Orient president in full silver or silver and gold and replace the bracelet with a leather strap, like this one. Imo it's a homage that looks even better than the original, and way above it's price point. So classy.

Not super easy to buy since it's no longer being produced, but very much possible and worth it. I've seen them go as low as $400 and up to $1000

I’m selling a Seiko SPB349 with green dial for $850 shipped if you’re interested.

Nice watch. What style you thinking of? Diver? Dress? Field? Bauhaus?

Bulova Wilton GMT is my favorite

Maybe check out Maen. I’ve been looking at their triple calandra recently. Looks like a solid watch for the price point

Tissot PRX Powermatic

if you can stretch the budget a bit, i would recommend a nomos club or something. very newage vintage look to contrast the skx

[–] Phase-Flaky@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Yeah many mention the club but personally I only like the ones on a bracelet with the muted colors like the brown one but they go for like 3,1k with an exhibition case back😭

I recently bought the club campus purple blue face one on black suede leather strap. I enjoy it a lot. Maybe they'll come out with a color youd like eventually.

Christopher Ward, I have two now, really happy with them

I’d buy about a dozen timex watches and actually wear them instead of keeping all my watches in a safe

[–] Envyforme@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Oris - Longines - Rado is your best bet.
