The five other players are: Vince Carter, Kevin Garnett, Dirk Nowitzki, Robert Parish and Kevin Willis.

  • Vince Carter averaged 7.4ppg

  • Kevin Garnett averaged 3.2ppg

  • Dirk Nowitzki averaged 7.3ppg

  • Robert Parish averaged 3.7ppg

  • Kevin Willis averaged 2.4ppg

Combined, that is a total of 24ppg. LeBron James is averaging 24.6ppg this season on elite efficiency of 56.5%.

LeBron is performing well in the 4th quarter, averaging 9.8 points on 69% FG and 44.4% from 3. He is scoring more in the 4th quarter alone than any year 21 NBA player throughout an entire game.

LeBron James is still a top player in the league. He is worth more than 5 year 21 players combined, while scoring efficiently, while playmaking and rebounding, while providing leadership and mentorship. He is the most valuable NBA player of all time.

Lebron winning the clutch player of the year award at his 21th season would be something.

This is his greatest argument for GOAT.

Paradoxically, also makes his 4 rings over 21 years compared to 6 rings over 15 seasons look worse.

It's gonna be

"6-0" vs "40,000"

Why doe.

One is cumulative stats-- you play long enough you're gonna get it.

Hardware is where you prove you're the best player at some aspect of ball in any given year (defense, rebound, scoring, winning etc).

Essentially, Mj has proved he is better than the rest of the league more often than lebron has. The hardware difference between them is already a 1st ballot HOF.

2x FMVP 1x MVP 1x DPOY 9x scoring titles 1x ROTY

etc etc.

This ain't no knock on LBJ I think he's the greatest floor raiser of all time but it's far more difficult af to actually win 1st place vs 390 players more often.

incredible skills, great work ethic, and freak genetics and some good luck to avoid serious injuries.

This LeBron guy is pretty good at doing basketball.

The season comparison is a bit misleading since LeBron started so young.

A better comparison would be by age imo.
