This only works if there is enforcement and enforcement is given funding, support and protection to be able to do their job.

Otherwise ... it's just big words to make everyone feel better.

And meaningful penalties. Sick of financial “penalties” (read: operating costs) for corporate malfeasance. Not a fan of the carceral system, but while we have it, let’s give some of the shitbags doing harm at industrial scale a taste of it.

Conservatives are probably already trying to figure out for to defund it.
