Spend $13,000 on a food trailer or pay off my $13,000 in student loans and be debt free. I really want to quit my job and become an full-time entrepreneur. Working on a few ebooks/digital assets that will go along with my new job that I will eventually hire others or run and I just manage

The trailer, brand new, costs $24,000 but I'm buying it second hand from a older gentleman that is trying to relocate. He wouldn't otherwise sell it. If I pass on this I will have to pay full price via financing but at a later date!

Currently a sailor on the Great Lakes and none of theses sailing jobs are transferable to land. Kinda miss being on land also. Been sailing for 4 years after I left my warehouse job.

Suggestions/opinions?

Thank you.

Think about it like this, can the food truck earn you enough money to live and settle the student debts, Being debt free is great, but earning more than you need is even better

I would be better off owning a food trailer, so I can learn the business and eventually manage it while others work it for me! Thanks for the input. None of these positions at sea are transferable so I think learning a business can be priceless.
